Hi! My name is Alycia Morales.
First and foremost, I'm a daughter of the King of Kings and Lord of Lords. Jesus is my first love, and I enjoy knowing Him.
I was born a Hoosier, grew up in the Catskill Mountains of New York, and now find myself experiencing the United States as my husband's career takes us on the road. Since I was born, I've lived in Indiana, Kentucky, New York, Alabama, South Carolina, Georgia, and New Mexico. And I can't wait to see where God takes us next!
I am happily married to my tall, dark, handsome, super smart husband, Victor H. Morales. We've been loving and gracing and forgiving one another for 15 years now.
When I married him, I gained a wonderful son. He's all grown up now. Then, Vic and I had four brilliant, funny, creative children. We've got one teenager, two tweens, and one who is catching up quickly. They continue to outgrow their clothes before their knees wear thin.
We also have a German short-haired pointer, Blaize, who loves to drive me insane with all of his energy. Can we play, Mom? Huh? Can we? Can we? He's at it all day.
When I'm not taking pictures of God's glory, I am busy working in my home office. You see, I'm a writer. And an editor. I'm one of those creative types. I love what I do and wouldn't trade it for the world!
What else do I love to do? I love to take hikes, read, scrapbook, put together 1,000-piece puzzles, watch TV or movies, drink decaf coffee, and eat chocolate in any form - candy, brownies, ice cream, cake...you get the idea. My favorite shows are NCIS, Bones, Castle, Once Upon a Time, and Downton Abbey. I love contemporary women's fiction and suspense/romantic suspense books.
If there's anything else you'd like to know about me, feel free to ask. I'm happy to share!
